Nature to me means life, connection, and mystery. Life because we are surrounded by a variety of living organisms (plants, animals, humans, etc.) that together make for incredibly dynamic ecosystems that have a life of their own as well. Connection because I think nature elements are linked (either directly or indirectly), and are in many cases in symbiosis with each other. And mystery because there are still a lot things we don’t know about nature. Things that we have yet to discover or understand. Finally, I see humans as intrinsically connected to nature, and not separate from it. We, humans, are part of the living things that encompass nature, directly interact with our living environment, and we are connected to it; and we play a central role in unraveling nature’s mysteries.
