From a young age, wandering the land of sagebrush and grasses, I felt an embrace from the natural world and all that it contains. The feeling of safety, combined with a fully attentive curiosity filled my days. Introducing myself to the special beings such as rocks, plants, water, and animals became part of my own being and a sense of belonging. This connective space has allowed me to apply my earth dreaming with the work that I do, in search of a relationship through empathy and to help others notice and seek more. When I cry tears of grief, I put my belly to the earth and let the grief be taken, knowing that the mother can hold the pain. Giving back to the earth through tending and reciprocity is part of the relationship and further deepens the connection. Without nature, I would be lost
